Plumber Frankston: Yullie Street Kitchen Sink Installation

We began this job by capping the live water feed to the existing sink with our quick and effective screw on easy caps.

Once the water had been capped we were able to turn the water back on to the dwelling so that the clients can still use the facilities whilst the new kitchen is being installed.

Next our Plumber Mornington Peninsula way located where the discharge pipe point was and began to drill the correct size hole to provide an easy and neat way to connect the sink waste to the discharge point. Once everything had been prepped for work to commence we then measured up the center of the sink waste and begin to drill another hole.

After we connected the waste and trap our Frankston South Plumber moved to the kitchen taps and put chrome cover plates and mini ceramic stop taps in place, the hot tap will be a single tap where the cold will be a dual isolation tap for us to be able to connect the kitchen mixer and the dishwasher inlet to.

The dishwasher only requires a cold inlet due to dishwashers have heating elements inside them which heats the water for cleaning. Also on  installation of the dishwasher we require that the waste pipe from the kitchen sink is equipped with a dishwasher waste barb. Once this is all done we can connect our dishwasher to the waste barb making sure the dishwasher waste pipe is in an upward position so that if there is a blockage in the line the waste will not back flow into the fixture.

Once everything was connected we put everything on test to make sure that there is no leaking or problems with the fixtures.
