Plumber Moorooduc: Barak Road Storm water rectification

There must be thousands of Drains currently Blocked and left unattended. It can be very bad for your property to leave a blocked drain in its state as it can back up and most of the time overflow out of the bottom of your down pipes and then spill all over the ground around your house and concrete slab or stump footings. When this happens it means that you are running the risk of the ground around the concrete swelling or expanding when it is saturated and then after it dries up the ground will contract which causes movement of the vital footings holding up your house. When left unattended you can start to see cracks in your walls and ceiling and then you know your home is literally falling apart.

Orbit Plumbing received a call out for a job in Moorooduc where the customer could tell that the storm water piping was blocked. Luckily in this case they had an a break in the pipe as well which was situated away from the home. This acted as a spill out point for the property so the water was kept away from the home.

Our Seaford Plumber and Frankston South Plumber both attended this property together. On arrival they noticed that the storm water was severely blocked and decided to use the pipe camera and locator to locate the exact point of the blockage.

After the camera went downstream we realized that the piping just came to a dead stop under the ground and was just an open pipe going no where. Being a rural property our plumbers decided that it would be best to dig out a trench with the fall of the land and have an opening were the storm water could escape.
