Plumber Mount Eliza: Humphries Road Gas Line Diverting

Orbit Plumbing’s Mornington Peninsula plumber was called to the Humphries Road, Mount Eliza site for the removal of an existing external barbeque gas pipe. Our Somerville Plumber inspected and evaluated the job. The customer had an existing gas outdoor barbecue connected and after the removal of the barbecue, the customer also wanted to remove the gas pipe which was prodding from their external wall.

On further inspection, it was noted, the same gas line was used by the kitchen gas stove. Our Plumber Frankston, advised the customer that more work would be required to remove the external gas pipes and then divert and reconnect the kitchen stove gas line as the pipe was looped back through the wall and connecting to the stove top.

Our Langwarrin plumber cut a hole in the external side and the internal plaster wall leading to the gas stove to gain access to the gas pipe within the wall cavity. The Mornington Plumber using the approved, yellow PEX gas pipe which is light weight, bendable and does not need to be welded to speed up the process and keep the job at a cheaper price for our customer. Our plumber tested the Gas line at 7kpa for 5 minutes successfully to ensure the gas was tight and not leaking.
